Why we need change locally Conservative National Policies

  At A Glance - Our Local Policy Summarised

David Cameron's Conservatives promise to put people first.

The era of top-down, high-tax, big-spend politics is over.

It has failed - in Whitehall and in the Town Hall.

Locally we need change for the better.

Together we are campaigning for;

 1  Council Tax frozen for two years

 2  Consult every citizen on your priorities for your area

 3  Four year freeze on bureaucracy

 4  End propaganda on the rates - money to key services

 5  Change local plan to check high rise and garden grabs

 6  Halt sell-off of Twickenham Riverside

 7  Adopt 10-year plan to tackle primary place crisis

 8  Move to bring 6th form education to the Borough

 9  Pensioner preference in front-line services

10 Green Deal to help cut domestic CO2 emissions

11 Encourage business and help small shops

12 End war on high streets, adopt fair parking policies and scrap failed CPZ tax surcharge on parking permits
